Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy focuses on the assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles, which support the bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs, and contribute to core stability and overall function.
This service can help address a variety of concerns, including urinary or fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy-related discomfort, and postpartum recovery. It may also be beneficial before or after pelvic or abdominal surgery.
Assessment and treatment are individualized and may include education, exercise prescription, manual therapy, and strategies to improve muscle coordination, strength, and relaxation. Internal assessment and treatment may be offered when appropriate, with informed consent.
Pelvic health concerns are common, and treatment is tailored to support your goals and daily activities.
